Solve social challenges with Nissay

On August 5, Dream Incubator and Nippon Life Insurance Company (“Nissay”) have announced the signing of a business partnership agreement to promote cooperation and joint activities in solving Japan’s social issues. Under this agreement, DI and Nissay will share and utilize each other’s knowledge and networks to undertake public-private collaboration projects or initiatives. Specifically, with social impact bonds as the axis of our approach, we will work to promote regional revitalization by addressing issues typically faced by municipal authorities and launch new initiatives in preventive healthcare. We also plan to have discussions with other stakeholders to create a blueprint for said public-private and industrial cooperation.

In recent years, many social issues in Japan’s rapidly changing social environment alongside its aging population and declining birthrate have become increasingly complex and serious. Companies having the same goals and aspiration now need to come together to help solve social problems collectively by sharing and utilizing each other's know-how, networks, and resources to the fullest extent, rather than having governments and private firms confront these individually.
