Publication of "The Two Momotaros" picture book
Dream Incubator is pleased to announce the publication of “The Two Momotarōs” (ふたりのももたろう, the two Peach Boys) as part of our initiatives in promoting a tolerant and compassionate society founded on understanding and respecting diversity of voices and perspectives. This is a children’s accordion picture book revealing the tales of 2 Momotarōs the Peach Boys in two different worlds, one is the original story about Momotarō going on a journey to fight the ogres, and the other is a twisted story of him being found and raised by the ogres.
With the aim of nurturing empathy and compassion in children, the two tales intertwined in this book are designed to help children “learn to think from another person's perspective”, an ability that becomes increasingly important in today’s society.
The book was published on 11 August 2021, and is available in physical bookstores nationwide and online channels (Amazon, Rakuten Books).
