Interview with PEACS Inc and DI's Executive Officer Mr. Katsuhiko Handa on Media Innovation
An interview with PEACS Inc. top executives has been released on Media Innovation – Japan’s digital media information hub. Acquired by Dream Incubator Inc. (DI) in December 2020, PEACS Inc. was originally a subsidiary of Ei-Publishing Co., Ltd., a large publishing house with a long history in Japan.
As an investor, DI identifies PEACS as a very potential investment target as the company expects great business growth from reviving an industry with a lot of room for innovation like publishing. DI’s idea is to leverage PEACS strong vertial media and customer data platform to attract users with 24 media brands it took over from the acquisition, each of which already has its own core fan base and hobbies/lifestyle related media content built around the fondness of audiences. The company will then navigate attracted users to other business models it builds for monetization, coined as “cash generators” according to DI’s business philosophy, including e-commerce, marketing/content studio solutions provided for corporates, etc. revolving around “fan data” as the core of business.
