An interview with DIMENSION CEO Takamitsu Miyaso on Diamond Signal

An interview with Mr. Takamitsu Miyaso - DI Executive Officer and DIMENSION CEO – is published on DIAMOND SIGNAL.
The topic addresses challengers who take action to create new industries amid the global coronavirus pandemic.
To remark on 2020, Mr. Miyaso summarized three points:
(1) Distinct gap between struggling and steadily growing start-ups
(2) AI and SaaS are notable competitive advantages
(3) Large-scale investment by public-private partnership investment company INCJ (The Innovation Network Corporation of Japan) through its VC fund.
He also predicts that healthcare and social infrastructure will continue to rise in Japan after 2021. Social infrastructure start-ups will continue to grow significantly thanks to large market size.
Mr. Miyaso predicts 2 long-term trends will become apparent:
(1) People who left the corporate will likely establish start-up and manage by objectives (MBO)
(2) “SDGs”.
